“This is the first afternoon tea I’ve been to that you get to choose three sandwich fillings beforehand from: brie & walnut, falafel & humus, cucumber & creme fraiche, free range egg mayonnaise, Caerphilly cheese & chutney, classic coronation chicken or prawn & lemon.”

“When our food arrived I couldn’t wait to dig in. I had opted for the Caerphilly cheese & chutney, egg mayo and the brie and walnut. They were all delicious and I’ve never had brie and walnut before, but this was my favourite. My friend had the coronation chicken, Cucumber and creme fraiche and the egg mayo and enjoyed them all.”

“The building is stunning, the staircase was imposing and the bedrooms are gorgeous.”

“The gardens are lovely and you can also play croquet on the lawn. It is a lovely venue for the summer sitting outside, but it is also lovely and cosy for winter.”

“It is a stunning building and looks like a lovely place to stay. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, they really are passionate about their new business. Definitely worth the drive to visit!”
