Gellihaf House - Boutique Bed & Breakfast
Welcome to Gellihaf House, a family-owned and run boutique bed & breakfast set in the romantic Welsh valleys. Your host Catherine fell in love with Gellihaf House the moment she saw it and she is confident that you will too. The house was completed in 1931 in the style of the Arts and Crafts Movement and has many original features that have been lovingly restored. Catherine has worked hard to renovate and decorate this beautiful building and grounds sympathetically to the era of its design. It was built on the site of the old farmhouse, Gellihaf House farm which was actually in Catherine’s family several generations ago. Your host believes in offering exceptional accommodation and service, to make you feel that Gellihaf House is your ‘home from home’ and to make your stay nothing but memorable.

Your first meal of the day will be cooked with fresh, locally sourced and verified Welsh farm products. We will prepare for you a breakfast of your choice, be that a ‘Full Welsh’ or cereals and toast. Breakfast service is relaxed and informal in our imposing Dining Room and will provide you with the perfect start to your day.

Gellihaf House offers a unique experience, with its enormous Sitting Room complete with comfortable furnishings and open log fire, its sumptuous bedrooms, its grand Dining Room and spacious Gardens teeming with birdlife; it will provide you with a truly unforgettable stay.

Midway up the Rhymney Valley and conveniently located for the short drive to Cardiff, offering shopping expeditions, bars, cafes and restaurants; and a similar distance from the Brecon Beacons National Park with all the splendid outdoor opportunities it can provide.
